Commodities, Dow Jones, Stocks, TheInflationist StockPicksAVATAR - Must Watch
We were waiting for Avatar to come off the “No Free Tickets” list in Village cinema so that we could use our Village shareholder buy one free one ticket voucher, but succumbed to peer pressure. We went in not knowing much about the movie (infact, we expected nothing more than “adult smurfs running around without a plot” thanks to professional movie critics) - and boy were we impressed. The 3D effects were absolutely amazing, animation and visual design astounding. For >2 hours, we were in a different planet - beautiful and magical. Personally, I liked the story. It is a landmark film that must be watched on the big screens. It costs 400 million to make the movie, and in 3 weeks it has grossed $1.5 billion. Its definitely worth the $18 to watch this movie, and when it comes off the NFT list, we will watch it again.
Note: only watch the 3D version. And for Australian readers, support Village Cinema (its in our portfolio)!
